Visa Requirements & Letter of Invitation

Czech Republic is a member of the Schengen agreement. Visitors from outside the European Union (EU) should check whether or not a visa is required:

Letter of invitation for participation in the International Radar Symposium 2017

Participants who need to receive an official letter of invitation in order to obtain a visa, raise travel funds, or for administrative purposes should apply for this document by June 1, 2017, at the very latest. Requests received later than this date may not be processed in time by the embassies due to high touristic season.

Please specify how you need to get the invitation letter, electronically as a PDF file or a hard copy by post. This form of invitation serves as a proof of the purpose of travel only. Supporting documents on accommodation, financial means and others need to be attached to the visa application by the applicant.

In order to receive an IRS 2017 invitation letter for a visa application, please follow the steps below:

Step 1 :

Register and pay the IRS-2017 conference fee.
Step 2 :Send to Opens window for sending emailirs(at)tu-harburg.de the following information:
  • Name as stated in passport
  • Date of birth
  • Passport number, Passport expiration date
  • Company/Affiliation
  • Postal address
  • Country
Step 3 :Upon receiving the IRS registration fee, invitation letters will be sent by email and by post (if necessary).
